01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

Soft daylight streams through the large windows at Cafe Win, a kissaten nestled quietly in a residential neighborhood. It makes an easy stop for a refreshing drink on the way back from Shinozaki Park, offering a calm dining room where you can linger over a meal or a cup of tea.

A highlight of the savory menu is the hamburg steak omurice, topped with a tender, fluffy omelet and a demi-glace sauce simmered for 48 hours. Hearty options that satisfy lunchtime appetites include a flavorful vegetable curry, a substantial Sangenton pork loin cutlet curry, and a Kuroge Wagyu beef steak bowl finished with a soft-boiled onsen egg. The pasta selection is equally varied, showcasing classic yoshoku pairings such as lobster tomato cream pasta or tuna carbonara accented with jamón serrano.

After eating or in the afternoon, carefully brewed teas and deep-roasted iced coffee hit the spot. For dessert, the kitchen prepares treats ranging from classic cheesecake to rum-scented canelés, browned butter financiers, and affogato.

A ramp at the entrance ensures easy access for strollers, complemented by an uncrowded floor plan. High chairs are also available, making the space just as welcoming for a relaxing family gathering as it is for a quiet solo meal.
